If you have strolled Omaha’s Gene Leahy Mall recently, you will have noticed some fascinating new seating available to passersby.  Thirteen seating structures, all designed by local architects and engineers, have been placed throughout the downtown mall area as part of an exciting new public art project.

Two NE Programs Selected As Coming Up Taller Semifinalists

Two Nebraska programs were recently chosen as 2010 Coming Up Taller semifinalists by the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities and its partner agencies, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.  Both programs are based in Omaha.

NAC Announces Recent Grant Awards

NAC announces grants for projects and programming starting July 1, 2010. $995,379 was awarded from a total of $1,261,551 in grant requests from organizations across the state. The awards are a combination of state and federal funds and earnings from the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.
