| Nebraska is fortunate to be home to many local arts councils located in all regions of the state. These organizations are based in communities ranging from the smallest and most rural to the largest metropolitan areas. There is not a single ‘one size fits all’ definition of the arts councils in Nebraska, because each one determines its priorities in response to its community’s interests and needs. Without exception, though, Nebraska’s community arts councils are critical to providing quality arts programming to communities throughout the state.
