Nancy Peters Hastings edits Whole Notes, a small literary magazine, which received the Leonard Randolph Small Press Award in 1986 and 1987. Ms. Hastings' poems have appeared in Poetry, Puerto Del Sol, Prairie Schooner, Commonweal, Pebble and other literary magazines. She conducts creative writing workshops for all ages. Each session directly involves students in short, in-class writing projects. The best writing in the residency is considered for publication in the forthcoming anthology of writing by young people.
