Marcia Joffe-Bouska’s residencies give participants grounding in technique and art fundamentals while emphasizing their context within culture and art history. She facilitates experimentation, problem solving, discovery, communication and self-expression as she shares her deep love of art and the joy and fulfillment of creation. She has experience working with people of all ages and art abilities, and enjoys designing workshops and residencies adapted to the needs of the sponsor and meeting state and national educational standards. Residencies have included mosaic, sculpture (relief and in the round, carved and constructed), mask-making, found object and mixed media constructions, etc. She has designed individual and collaborative projects, both permanent and temporary.

Joffe-Bouska earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art and art education from Clarke University, a Master of Arts degree in painting and drawing from Northern Illinois University and she has permanent professional teaching certification in Iowa. She works from a studio in her home in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
