"Bronte" a one-woman play by William Luce, performed by Jill Anderson.

This one-hour long performance plus question and answer session offers a dramatic window into the lives of the famous literary Bronte family, authors of "Jane Eyre" and "Wuthering Heights." The play takes up the story as Charlotte Bronte returns home from the funeral of her last remaining sibling and begins life alone with her father in their remote North England parsonage. She reflects on the remarkable incidents, triumphs, tragedies and relationships that have brought her to the present moment as she looks to the future with hope and courage.

Jill Anderson is a professional actress and musician whose 24-year music and theatre career has taken her all over the United States. She currently resides in Omaha, and is currently on the NAC Touring Artist Roster, listed as Jill Anderson’s Celtic Cabaret. She has produced four CDs of Irish folk music.

Technical Requirements:
The play can be performed in almost any space that is at least 8 feet deep and 16 feet wide. It is designed to be minimal. It can work well in schools, theatres, churches, even private homes.
• I provide the lighting and sound setup and one assistant/technician for the base price of $1500 plus travel and lodging.
• The sponsor provides two small side tables, a small love seat or settee, a small library table or writing desk with chair and a side chair. These items should be simple furniture that can pass for "antique".
• If the furniture is not provided by the sponsor, the cost of the production goes up to $2000 to cover rental of a truck and bringing of my own furniture.
• The least expensive option is for me to come without any of the tech elements of the show and perform in costume with minimal furniture provided by the sponsor. I would need one local female assistant provided by the sponsor to assist with my costume needs. The price of this option is $1000 plus travel and lodging.

Fees: Maximum negotiable fee is $2,000

Availability: No travel limitations or schedule restrictions at this time.
