Prairie Visions

The Prairie Visions Center for Innovation in Arts Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha is a statewide program which links the resources of Nebraska’s major art museums, higher education faculty, and arts organizations with educators and art specialists. The central purpose has been to work with teachers and administrators to make comprehensive arts education integral in our schools’ curricula. Participants represent a total of 97 public and private school districts serving nearly half of Nebraska’s K-12 students. Prairie Visions has served more than 2,500 educators in Nebraska. The Summer Leadership Academy continues the partnership of NAC and the UNO Center, which serves as administrator of the summer program.
