The projects following the CaFE™ listings are administered independently and are provided in the order of the deadline date.

Via CaFE™RFP: Artistic Bicycle Racks - City of Littleton Fine Arts Board

The Littleton Museum, acting as the coordinating agent for the City of Littleton and the Littleton Fine Arts Board, publishes this Request for Proposals (RFP) to design, fabricate, deliver, and install artistic (sculptural) bicycle racks for Littleton’s Main Street. Professional and amateur Colorado artists of all backgrounds are encouraged to participate.

This call is open to photographers that reside in the state of Alaska at least three months of the year. We're looking for photographs that illustrate all of the spectrums of art that go into fashion photography, including but not limited to: photography, modeling, hair, makeup, and clothing design.
Via CaFE™ PEORIA CROSSING – PUBLIC ART: PEORIA STREET & E. 37TH AVENUE
Arts & Venues Denver is seeking an artist, or artist team, for a site-specific public art commission to correspond with the Peoria Crossing project, a bridge to be constructed at Peoria Street and E. 37th Avenue in Denver, CO.
The selection panel has recommended a free-standing or integrated artwork for the site. This commission is open to all artists/artist teams working in all media. The commissioned artist, or artist team, will be invited to collect personal stories from the community to shape their final proposal. There is a strong desire from the selection committee that this project invites community involvement and participation. Estimated budget for artwork is $113,000. Deadline is Friday, December 28, 5:00 PM MST.
Via CaFE™SOUTH BROADWAY: ARIZONA AVENUE – YALE AVENUE
Arts & Venues Denver is seeking an artist, or artist team, for a site-specific public art commission that compliments the street improvements made along South Broadway between Arizona and Yale Avenues.
The selection panel has identified a variety of possible opportunities, and invites the artist to think creatively in proposing for this opportunity. This commission is open to artists/artist teams working in all media. Estimated budget for artwork is $250,000. Deadline is Friday, December 28, 5:00 PM MST.

New Mexico Arts Art in Public Places program and the Local Selection Committee at the University of New Mexico seek an artist or artist team specializing in lighting design, multimedia and/or video installation for a public art project at The Pit on the university’s south campus. The artwork commissioned for this project will enliven the stair tower at the northeastern corner of the building through a dynamic nighttime installation programmed to convey the excitement of activities held at the facility, and will have a presence within the City of Albuquerque.
An all-inclusive budget of $200,000 is available for this project. This amount includes all associated expenses and fees.

Sound Transit Downtown Tacoma Gateway Artwork, Tacoma, WA

Sound Transit’s Public Art Program (STart) invites artists and/or artist teams living within the United States to submit qualifications for an $185,000 commission to design and fabricate a site-responsive gateway artwork for a new entry to downtown Tacoma, WA near Sound Transit’s Pacific Avenue Underpass (S. 26th Street & Pacific Avenue).

Western Gateway/Columbia Pike & Jefferson Street Public Art Project, Arlington County, Virginia
Eligibility: Open to all artists/teams; must have collaborative team experience with large projects.

RFQ sought from artists/artists for the design, fabrication, and install a work of art or design enhancement for this street/transportation project. The successful work should exist successfully within current, interim, and planned conditions. Development and implemention of a community engagement plan is part of the project. The entire project is intended to set a high bar of excellence for future transit‐related public art projects planned for Columbia Pike. Project budget, including artist design fee, materials, fabrication, installation, travel and expenses, is $200,000.
2013 Gloucester MA HarborWalk - Public Art Challenge, Gloucester, Massachusetts
This is an RFP. The Gloucester Committee for the Arts seeks professional artist/s and/or artist team(s) for 3 new public art commissions. Artists are asked to submit proposals to design, create and complete new public art work in downtown Gloucester for the 2012 designed HarborWalk. The total project budget is $47,000 which will be distributed as follows: $20,000 for one (1) permanent project; two (2) additional prizes will be awarded totaling $27,000, at least one of which must be temporary. The minimum project budget is $7500.
