Arts In Crisis Tour with Michael Kaiser, May 2010
Kennedy Center President, Michael M. Kaiser, hosted a community conversation at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. Kaiser addressed the challenges facing many non-profit arts organizations in the areas of fundraising, building effective boards, budgeting and marketing. The Arts in Crisis Tour was initiated to provide free mentoring to arts groups large and small looking to successfully navigate through the current economic crisis. This event was cosponsored by the NAC, Nebraskans for the Arts, the Lincoln Arts Council and the Lied Center for the Performing Arts.
