Leadership development for board members of nonprofit arts organizations was provided to address the challenges f in light of the recent economic downturn. Topics included governance, resource development, staff and board retention, and new operational models. Boards and staff participated together to develop stronger relationships and organizations. Jane Hill, an independent consultant, spent approximately six weeks traveling across Nebraska working directly with arts organizations .
